Myocardial Infarction means heart attack and is on the list of heart diseases according to the American Heart Association. They actually list Atherosclerosis and Coronary Thrombosis as diseases associated with heart attacks. We did not know that there were so many types of types of heart diseases on the list of heart diseases.
